About the product
"Ny Fanagasiana" ("Malagachisation") is a substantial essay, one of Andriamalala's four most influential works alongside Fofombadiko, Hetraketraka, and Ilay Vohitry ny Nofy. First published in the mid-1970s, it argues for restoring the Malagasy language as a national and cultural asset, blending political, economic, and linguistic reflection. Written at a pivotal moment in Madagascar's history, it remains dense but visionary, and one of the clearest windows into the author's thinking on language, identity, and nationhood.
