About the product
Written in 1948, "Taolambalo" belongs to the formative decade in which young E.D. Andriamalala shaped the richly lyrical Malagasy prose that would define his career. It is counted among the nine novels forming the author's long literary quest for love, later crowned by his 1970 classic Ilay Vohitry ny Nofy. Though less widely known than his prize-winning later works, it remains prized by connoisseurs of Malagasy literature for its early display of Andriamalala's gift for language and place.
A rare early work from a founding voice of Malagasy fiction — bring "Taolambalo" home today.
