About the product
"Menarana," written in 1945 and published in 1972 and 1982, is one of the early works in which E.D. Andriamalala developed the themes that defined his career: love, longing, and attachment to the Malagasy land and language. Remembered fondly alongside Voankazo Nandrarana, Fofombadiko, and Ilay Vohitry ny Nofy, it is counted among the nine novels of the author's long quest for love. It also includes some of his poetry, revealing the lyricism running through all his prose.
